This Privacy Policy describes how Kova Studios collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Innermost. Innermost is available worldwide and is rated 18+ on the App Store.
Account Information When you create an account we collect your name and email address to identify your account and personalize your experience.
Journal Data Your journal entries, mood selections, daily question answers, and AI reflections are stored securely in our database. This data is used to personalize your experience and generate future questions tailored to your life. We do not sell or share your journal data with any third party.
Question Response History When you answer your daily question, your response is stored in our database. This data is used exclusively to generate increasingly personalized daily questions over time. As a database operator, Kova Studios has the technical ability to access stored responses, however we do not review individual user responses except when required to diagnose a technical issue at your request or when required by law.
AI Personalization Data After you have answered 40 preset questions, your past question responses are sent to OpenAI's API to generate personalized questions. OpenAI does not use your data to train their models when accessed via their API. Data is not retained by OpenAI beyond the immediate request and logs which are stored for 30 days.
Usage Data We collect basic anonymized usage information such as feature usage and app open frequency to improve the app. This data is never linked to your personal identity.
Device Information We may collect basic device information such as operating system version to help diagnose technical issues.
Push Notification Token If you enable notifications, we store your device push token to deliver your daily question notification. You can disable this at any time in your device settings.
